What is True Holiness
(Isaiah 35;8) “And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.”
This is talking about when the kingdom of God comes, only the true holiness shall be able to enter into his kingdom. Holiness is not a Church, church name, or the way we dress or look. It is the pure in heart; those that are truly sold out to him. They are willing to lay everything down at his feet. Anything that is unclean, bad thoughts, TV shows or movies, hurt feelings, or our wants. Jesus and his will for our lives have to come first.
Holiness in Hebrew means – clean (ceremonially or morally) sacred place or thing; sanctity:-consecrated, dedicated, hallowed thing, saint, sanctuary.
If you are truly walking in his holiness the minister or no one will have to say; don’t do this or that. You will no longer do the wrong things, because you have a new nature. You are walking in the Lords will for your life.
(1Chronicles 16;29) “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”
(Psalm 29;2) “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”
(Psalm 96;9) “O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.”
Beauty in Hebrew means – Decoration, beauty, honor.
Holiness in Hebrew means – a sacred place or thing; sanctify; dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary.
We have to worship Jesus in true holiness because he is Holy. He will not receive an unholy worship, neither shall the unholy enter into his kingdom. People have played the harlot church too long. They have not sold out to God, they follow after the ways of men and flesh. These people do it their way, If we live life our way, we will have to hit the highway, God will not except an unholy people or an unholy worship! These people say; we can’ be holy only God is holy. Jesus said!
(Matthew 5;48) Be ye therefore perfect, even as you Father which is in heaven is perfect.
(Matthew 19;21) Jesus said unto him, if thou wilt be perfect,
The Lord Jesus is saying be perfect, be like him. If we are going to enter into his kingdom, we have to strive to be like him. A lot of churches are laying their hands on people , for them to receive the Lords spirit and they have not even been saved. People are shouting and praising God and they don’t even live right. The Lord does not except this kind of worship. It is the same thing as when Cain offered his sacrifice. The Lord didn’t want it, because
Cain’s heart was not right before the Lord. Many church doors have been shut because of this same reason. The Lord cannot bless something that is not right.
(Matthew 7;13,14) “Enter ye at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
In order to walk through this narrow gate we must first!
Repent of our sins and believe in our heart, that Jesus died on the Cross and shed HIs Blood for our sins!
Once we repent, we must turn away from our sins and fleshly desires! We won’t be perfect the first day, but we must strive for it!
We must keep the Ten Commandments! Everyone makes mistakes, but we can’t sin willfully!
We must grow up to be mature Christians! (James 4;17) “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
(Luke 6;40) “The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.” Perfect here in Greek means mature. Let’s ask ourselves; are we the mature Christian we should be?
