The First Day of Christmas

posted in: Devotionals | 0

On the first day of Christmas our true love (God our Father), gave to us, A baby in a manger! He came to us as a little baby. He came to us as the Saviour of the world. But how could this be? A little baby born in a stable. He had no prestige, no place to be born.
He was but a tiny baby. No one would invite him to be born in their home! He would be born in a stable beside the animals.
He was the Son of God but no one knew, not even Mary, the magnitude that this small child would bring to the world.
He was the bright star that the shepherds and wisemen saw.
He was just a small little baby born with nothing in the natural. Little did they know that he was the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Alpha and Omega, and the I AM THAT I AM!

(Luke 2:10,11) “And the Angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

This was the Christ Child that brought us good tidings of great joy. Have you got this great joy today?
