On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me: The bread of life, the Word made flesh, beauty for ashes, His Word for health and healing, joy for our soul, light to light the way, and a baby in a manger.
This little baby would be the bread of life for the world. He would be our mana from heaven. This mana would never run out. We can all be filled with this bread of life continually, that this child brought to the world. We can drink from this new wine and never thirst again.
“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he shall never thirst.” (John 6;35).“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14).
