On the Eleventh Day of Christmas

posted in: Devotionals | 0

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me: Resurrection life, death on a cross, life for evermore, Salvation for mankind, the bread of life, the Word made flesh, beauty for ashes, His Word for health and healing, joy or your soul, the light to light the way, and a baby in a manger.

This little baby would grow up and be crucified on a cross. In three days he would be resurrected. He died on this cross for the sins of the world. He arose victorious over death, hell, and the grave that we could live for evermore. When we ask Jesus for forgiveness of our sins and believe that he died for our sins, he comes into our hearts.

We too must die to ourselves and become a new creature. When we bow before Christ and and get forgiveness of our sins we must lay down the old man and become a new creature in Christ Jesus.

”I am He that liveth, and was dead; and; behold I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys to hell and of death.” (Revelation 1:18).
