On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: The Word made flesh, beauty for ashes, His Word for health and healing, joy for our soul, light to light the way, and a baby in a manger.
This little baby would be God in the flesh. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” (John 1:1,2). The Word of God has always been. You can’t separate the Word of God from God. The Word was God. “And the Word of God was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father.) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14). He had the same glory his Father had and he also showed the same grace. He was full of Gods spirit and power.
If we can begin to see Jesus as begotten of the Father, it will open our eyes to the truth of Gods Word.
