“Sweet JESUS” how beautiful is thy Name!

Amazing Graze how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me! This is one of the most beautiful songs in history to my knowledge! Just think about who we use to be, and who we have become, since  Jesus came into our life.  We have been raised out of darkness into his marvelous light. What a glorious thing it is, that he would shine his light on us. He took us from the low places in the worldly realm and set us in the high places of God. 

Sometimes if we are not careful we will forget what a wretch we were. When we do forget where we came from or who we were, we sometimes  become judgmental and pick out everybody else’s faults.

Now lets think about the one that is perfect and his Name is Jesus Christ. What a beautiful Name! He is the one that gave us his Amazing Grace! He gave us eyes to see and ears to hear. Not only do we see and hear things in the earthly realm, but he gives us eyes and ears to know the truth of God’s word, if we will except him! Here are some of his characteristics.

1. He has the power to give life and death.
2. He is the healer of all mankind.
3. He can raise the dead.
4. He can set the captives free.
5. He can open the blinded eyes.
6. He can unstop deaf ears.
7. He can walk on water.
8. He can turn water into wine.
9. He can make the lame to walk.
10. He can calm the storms.
11. He can heal the sick.
12. He can save your soul!
