On the second day of Christmas, our true love gave to us. A light to light the way.
This tiny baby would be a light to light the way. He would be the light of truth.
He would bring light to the world so the truth of God’s Word could be revealed to us. He is the light that keeps the world going.
When you light a candle in a dark room the whole room brightens up. When the light of Jesus is opened up to us, we begin to understand the Word of God. We no longer see through a glass darkly but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. No matter how dark it gets, the Lord’s light will continue to light the way. As long as we have the light of Jesus, we have hope.
Let us be a light to the world.The Lord’s light is an everlasting light that never burns out. We must continue to let our light shine even though it seems like darkness is closing in on us. A small ray of light can light up the whole world.
(John 8:12) “Then spake Jesus unto them saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
